Surf & Turf Recipe

A delicious evening meal at Armstrong Health HQ- A quick and easy Surf & Turf. 

This is one of our classic go to recipes that is loved by our clients who follow our nutrition plans. 

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients (for weight loss):

  • Rump steak (70g)
  • Prawns (70g)
  • Cherry tomatoes (x4)
  • New potatoes (160g)
  • Kale (40g)
  • Olive Oil 
  • Salt
  • Peppers

*all weights are uncooked

 

Ingredients (for lean muscle gain):

  • Rump steak (120g)
  • Prawns (100g)
  • Cherry tomatoes (x8)
  • New potatoes (260g)
  • Kale (70g)
  • Olive Oil 
  • Salt
  • Peppers

*all weights are uncooked

Method: 

  1. Boil new potatoes in boiling water for 10-15 minutes
  2. Cover the kale with some olive oil and salt and place in the oven for 5 minutes
  3. Season the steak and fry in olive oil for 3 minutes in each side for a medium steak (cook for longer if you prefer it well done)
  4. 1 minute before the steak is done, add in the prawns and tomatoes to the frying pan
  5. Serve up and enjoy 😊
